To Go or Not To Go.... That was the question!

After listening to the weather forecasts all week long, Shannon and I spent the week worrying about whether we should try to get to Pullman for Scott's graduation or not. We didn't want to worry family by driving in the "biggest storm of this year" but we really wanted to see Scott graduate. He's worked very hard and we are very proud of him! When I woke up Friday morning, I knew we had to go. So, Shannon and I packed up the car with lots of blankets, snow gear and a shovel and headed down at 3:00. The weathermen weren't wrong this time (dang it!) and it was a slow, slow ride down. We saw a few cars off the road but we were careful and made it there safe and sound. We were so happy we did.

This is what graduation day looked like from Holly's window. We were worried about finding parking but we were able to park in a Beasley parking lot and only had to walk for a couple of minutes!

After we were inside and figured out what to do, we took a few minutes to have a "photo-op" with the graduate....thanks for obliging us, Scott. :)

I wasn't able to get many good shots during the ceremony but Holly took this one. He wasn't very hard to find in the crowd. :)

And then, of course....being the mom that I am...I wanted more pictures with the diploma! We are so proud of Scott and really appreciate him walking at Graduation. It is going to be a great memory!

Now, unfortunately, Scott has a big week of finals ahead of him...seems weird to me to have finals after graduation. But, hey, it's his "Final" finals!! Good luck, Scott.....and we still say you graduated even if you still have to take those silly tests!
