Snow Clean Up Day!

Today was the day to clean up MORE snow around here. Of course, you can't start cleaning until you play in the snow a little first.

Put the camera away or duck, Mom!

Hmmm...maybe the birds need a litte snow clean up, too!

Here comes our hero! Scott borrowed his dad's snowblower and gave us a path through the backyard. It felt like freedom! We can now easily get to our shed and my cross country skis. More importantly, we can more easily get to the garbage can!

Next, Scott and Shannon showed a little teamwork in cleaning up the front. Shannon moved cars and helped load and unload the snowplow out of the truck. They got a little practice with "teamwork" after an encounter between the truck and a snowbank that didn't seem to want to move out of their way. Too bad it was out of camera shot!

Ummm, I'm sure she usually brushes off more snow when she isn't just moving the car...:)

Hard to believe Scott is so grown up!

We so appreciate the help, Scott. Feels like an early Christmas present to me! I can snuggle up in our home and enjoy some Christmas movies and relax on Christmas Eve. No shoveling....for a few hours, anyway!
